How do I report my card as lost, stolen or damaged in NetBank or the CommBank app?

If your card is lost or stolen, you can cancel and order a replacement using NetBank or the CommBank app. New cards can be sent to you within seven working days. If you’ve misplaced a credit card, you can also apply a temporary lock while you look for it.

To report a card as lost, stolen or damaged in NetBank:

  1. From the home page in NetBank, select More
  2. Under security select Lost, stolen or damaged card
  3. Choose the card and select an action you would like to perform
  4. Follow the prompts.

To locate the feature in the CommBank app:

Credit cards

  1. Open the app, tap on Cards
  2. Log on, then swipe across to find your missing credit card
  3. Tap your card image
  4. Choose Lost, stolen or damaged card
  5. Choose Misplaced card to apply a temporary lock or Lost or stolen card to cancel and replace your card
  6. A new card will be sent to you within 7 working days.

Debit cards

  1. Open the app, tap on Cards
  2. Log on, then swipe across to find your missing credit card
  3. Tap your card image
  4. Tap Lost, stolen or damaged card
  5. Choose Lost or stolen card to cancel and replace your card.

How do I replace a damaged card?

  1. Open the app, tap on Cards
  2. Log on, then swipe across to find your damaged card
  3. Tap your card image
  4. Choose Lost, stolen or damaged card
  5. Choose Damaged card
  6. Tap the Order replacement button
  7. Confirm your address and what you wish to replace the card
  8. A card will be sent to you within seven working days.
